Dahiyya (or Al-Daha / Dehiya) is a traditional Bedouin folk dance and musical form popular in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, often performed at weddings and festive occasions. Originally a wartime performance to intimidate enemies or celebrate victory, it features men in rows, rhythmic clapping, poetic chanting, and sometimes sword-wielding dancers in the center.
